The goal of the Frame and Propulsion subgroup is to design and manfacture our frame as well as know about diffrent wheel designs to choose the one best suited for the competition. Many of the students in this group were trained to use mills and do TIG welding to manufacture our robot.
So far we have decided on a wide frame that will use brackets. The frame will be the one from this years kit of parts with a belt drive. We have also decided to powercoat the frame for our first time.
